Throughout my career, I have aspired to leadership positions, only to discover that the journey there - and beyond - required a great deal of resilience.

What I initially believed to be crucial (competence and hard work) was not enough. 

Once I started managing teams over 100 people, I was fortunate to benefit from coaching, both for myself and my team, which ultimately led me to pursue qualifications in Systemic Team Coaching and then in Executive Coaching with the UK's Academy of Executive Coaching. 

I started my career in the international development field in Cairo, Egypt, where I worked with migrant and refugee populations, including managing a humanitarian operation out of Libya during the Arab Spring. 

After earning a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton University, I transitioned to working as an economic consultant in the Middle East. Later, I moved to the UK to pursue a career in data and AI. I served as the Chief Data Officer for the UK's Office for National Statistics, where I managed a team of 120+ data and digital specialists.
